There are usually 20 General Volunteers per shift and two shifts per day- 10 Experienced General Volunteers, and 10 New General Volunteers “buddied up”.

An Experienced Volunteer will have volunteered for the project for at least 2 years.

 

What will I do as a General Volunteer?

• Socialise with guests. Chat and play games.

• Welcome guests and monitor those entering the project

• Work in the clothing store

• Help with activities (games, bingo etc.)

• Serve meals to guests at mealtimes and clear up afterwards

• Serve hot and cold drinks and snacks to guests
